The building project is done! We  closed our holiday cottage at the end of September 2015 to carry out a long-planned building project and are now open again.

The basement has been extended and houses  the kitchen and dining area with sliding glass doors providing easy access from the house to the yard and onto the beach.  We put in a fantastic new kitchen with range cooker  – 6 ring gas hob and 2 electric ovens.  We also created a utility room with washer/dryer and airing rack, renewed the shower room and provided an outside shower ( warm) for use after swimming and being on the beach.

With the relocation of the kitchen, the ground floor has been enlarged into a very spacious living area with huge floor to ceiling windows.  Sliding glass doors  open onto a new and even larger balcony.

So the views out to sea are even better!

On the first floor, two double  bedrooms and a new bathroom have been made  and there is a new bathroom on the top floor.   Our extended and improved holiday cottage will still sleep eight and have three bathrooms/shower rooms
